Bear Essentials

Any bear collection would be incomplete without Paddington Bear.  According to Wikipedia... "He first appeared on 13 October 1958 and was subsequently featured in more than twenty books written by Michael Bond and first illustrated by Peggy Fortnum. The polite immigrant bear from darkest Peru, with his old hat, battered suitcase (complete with a secret compartment, enabling it to hold more items than it would at first appear), duffle coat and love of marmalade sandwiches has become a classic character from English children's literature. "

My own collection includes three versions of Paddington.  The one I chose to a paint today is actually tiny.  Two inches high at best.  I'm not sure where I found him, but I am sure he's been a part of the pack for many years.  He has faded to a variety of grays, so I've spruced him up a bit for the painting.

How does one resist a bear that comes with a "Please look after this bear" tag?
