Dixie

This gorgeous hound dog is Dixie.  She's one of FiFi's Friends and is waiting for her forever home. I've painted this on a 6" x 8" board with oils.  I like working on the hardness of the board as opposed to stretched canvas.  The canvas always has a bit of give and bounce to it.  Almost like it is talking back to the brush.  The board just quietly takes on the paint.
