Day 20 already. January is flying by. I like that because I really am a Florida girl at heart and don't care much for the cold.
Today's painting takes me back to the beach. My model is a sculpture of a sea turtle popping out of its egg. Many years ago now, I was on the beach when tiny leather back turtles were being released. They had been raised in a marine lab, to give them a better chance of survival. They are amazing little creatures to watch as they made their way to the water.
There's a winter storm watch out for tomorrow. Time to head south!!
Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you tomorrow!
