Five days done now. And five paintings. One of the best parts of this challenge is at the end, I will have 30 new paintings. Today, having 5 new paintings seems like a lot. <grin>
Have you had a chance to stop by the blog for the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge? There are more than 250 artists participating and some amazing talent. Here's a link if you haven't been over there.... http://lesliesaeta.blogspot.com/
Today's painting is of Sweet Mary, one of the dogs of Laughing Dog Farm owned by Fifi's Friends. Laughing Dog Farm is a no-kill shelter for dogs. If you are familiar with my blog, you might remember that I've been working on a series of paintings of the dogs there. This painting was done on a 6" x 8" gessoed sheet of watercolor paper. I also was experimenting again with a technique artist, Tim Gagnon, had blogged about. You can read more about that in this blog post...http://suzun.blogspot.com/2012/11/experimenting-with-line.html
I'm already looking forward to painting tomorrow - although I have yet to figure out what it will be. We'll just have to wait and see!
