Two Tuesdays in a row. I'm on a roll!This sketch is the first stage in a painting I just started. I sketched this directly on canvas using burnt sienna thinned with Turpenoid. Next step is to start blocking in the colors. I've actually started that already, but won't post a photo till I get the canvas covered. The canvas is 8" x 10".
I'm working from a photo I took in Charlottesville, Virginia, two years ago. The look of intensity on the hound's face intrigues me. I hope I can capture that on the canvas.
